VOCAL MUSIC
In January 2022, Dc Mamba started its 1st program with professional singers to give children in DC and around the world access to music training. A small team of instructors, including our Youth instructors ages 18-24, will facilitate this program which will include different music training(reading, theory, rhythm) for children and young adults ages 4-17 and genders.
PERCUSSION
Dc Mamba is also introducing drums and percussion instruction. We will assist in children obtaining drumsticks, and learning proper form to play the drums. This program is open for children and young adults ages 4-17. All instructors, including our Youth instructors ages 18-24 will have all necessary tools needed to get children started in fun music early.
MUSIC THEORY
In addition to Vocals & Percussion, we will also be adding Music Theory to our programs in 2022. A small team of instructors, including our Youth instructors ages 18-24, will facilitate this program: Basic music theory teaching will include; music notation, pitch, scales, modes, rhythm, key signatures, intervals, melody’s, harmony’s, chords and chord progressions. Music is a universal language that can be fun, has no barriers, and it is understood by all cultures.
